The Greene County cross country teams ran in the Roland Story Norsemen Invitational Sept. 22 at River Bend Golf Course in Story City.
“This is traditionally a fast course and conditions were pretty good,” coach Jeff Lamoureux said. “We had several PRs in both boys and girls. We are making tremendous progress.”
He also noted that exchange student Bork Ersnes of Norway joined the team.
The Ram boys finished seventh of 11 teams. The first Ram across the finish line was Noah Hinote in 28th place with a time of 18:39. He was followed by Gavyn Winters in 31st place with a time of 18:51, Ethan Frederick in 37th place in 19:02, Kolby Angell in 51st place in 19:34, Bork Ersnes in 62nd place in 19:55, Carter Hinote in 70th place in 20:14, Mylo Taute in 92nd place in 21:08, and Jayden Koller in 122nd place in 22:37.
